I’ve seen that before. Just as I started wrapping my head around the engineering and concept of the engine, I looked and the video wasn’t half way over yet.
Seems the biggest challenge was getting the damn thing to work at speeds
under
Mach 3.

Yeah, looks like they designed a motor to go that fast, then worked backwards to work slower.
